Summer time means Fun time with the family! 

The Moonlight Movies series kicks the summer off on Saturday, June 8th from 6:30pm-11pm at Hernando Park, located at 205 E Ft Dade Ave in downtown Brooksville.

This month, the featured movie is “CARS” featuring Lightning McQueen and newfound friends Sally, Doc Hudson and Mater.

Families, bring your custom made “cardboard” race car to sit in at the Drive In! The movie starts at dusk but arrive early to participate in the pre-movie activities!  

Come prepared for a few exciting races before the movie! Who will win Best Decorated, Fastest Roadster, or your Favorite Car Friend? Enjoy cool music and dancing before the movie with DJ Shalamar and friends.

The event is free to the public and includes free downtown parking and the opportunity to stroll throughout downtown enjoying restaurants, merchants, and retail stores! There will also be food trucks, ice cream vendors, arts and crafts merchants and a few other surprises!

Bring your blankets and chairs. OUTSIDE COOLERS OR DRINKS are not allowed.

With its community-focused vibe, the Moonlight Movie series is a must-do summer fun date for families!
